Dr Lockyer is an administrator, researcher and teacher with extensive experience in continuing health education. She is a teacher in the MSc and PhD Medical Education Program at University of Calgary where she currently supervises 1 PhD and 7 MSc students and teaches both the curriculum design and evaluation and qualitative methods courses. She has over 140 peer review publications and her current research focuses on physician assessment and feedback, the impact of educational interventions on learning and change, needs assessment for curriculum development, learning associated with transitions in practice, and the role of role of reflection/self assessment in learning.
